The Darth Maul Staff is a variant version to the Star Wars movie model, it comes as 2 separate hilts with a coupler to connect them into a staff lightsaber. Maul, once known as Darth Maul, was a Force-sensitive Dathomirian Zabrak male who established himself as a crime lord during the reign of the Galactic Empire. However, he was once the Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious, and therefore, a Dark Lord of the Sith. Having trained in the ways of the Force, Maul was a formidable warrior strong with the dark side of the Force.
Duel-worthy and display worthy, chrome electroplating or black anodized paint, with functional thumb screws gives this staff lightsaber an excellent canon design. It is heavy (almost 4lbs. as a staff) and girthy compared to the M-AT staff (1.25") lightsaber we sell (Form I), based on the Rule of Two Staffs' circumference is a whopping 1.55"!
