Reset the Battery

Step 1 Using the allen wrench (included in silver bag) remove the screws from your hilt.

Step 2 Unscrew the hilt to reveal the electronic kit.

Step 3 With the battery facing down (over a soft surface - the battery is going to pop out in this step) tap the bottom plastic area (surrounding the speaker) of the electronic kit with the palm of you hand until the battery pops out.

Step 4 Once the battery is removed, hold down the power button for 5 seconds.

Step 5 With the + facing the light/emitter and the - Facing the speaker, Put the battery back in the electronic kit straight on. In other words, do not tilt/rock the battery in as if there were a spring on either side of the battery prongs; doing so can flatten the battery prongs (see the last section on the far right for the fix).--->

Step 6 Turn on Lightsaber. If the issue isn't resolved Move on to next step of testing the electronic kit.

Check the Battery Prongs

IMPORTANT! PLEASE ENSURE THE HILT IS UNPLUGGED AND THE BATTERY IS REMOVED BEFORE COMPLETING THIS STEP!

The battery prongs in the battery housing, need to be in a C-shape to maintain a constant connection between the battery and the electronic kit.
See Step 4 below for how to properly insert the battery.

Step 1 Place your thumb at the bottom of the prong inside the Battery housing.

Step 2 Slide your allen wrench (included) behind the flattened battery prong.

Step 3 Holding the bottom of the prong with your thumb, leverage the allen wrench on the side of the electronic kit to Bend/push out the center of the prong to form a C-shape. Repeat this step on the other battery prong if needed.

Step 4 Grab the battery and Face the + side toward the light/emitter of the electronic kit (the - will be pointing to the speaker). Put the battery back in the Electronic Kit straight on. In other words, do not tilt/rock the battery in as if there were a spring on either side of the battery prongs; doing so can flatten the battery prongs.
